Final Project.

For my final project, I did two pieces about me. One has the backing of a Holga Camera, which was given to me from my grandmother when I was young, it is covered by a sony cybershot (the camera I have now)  that I made in an Andy Warhol style. Typeography

I think type and font can definitely effect ones view of something, getting something with  scroll as a font,  is going to look more successful then something in graffiti or messy handwriting. Something plain my look boring as compared to something a little more artistic, As for the typography project, it was not my favorite to complete, but i think the finished product could be a very nice piece of art work.

How celebrity appearances and attitudes effect teens.

I think that teens in general are easily effected by outside influences especially celebrities . If a celebrities behaves like a criminal, or just decides not to use there brain on somethings it is seen as expectable, and if a beautiful photo comes out of them, then its seen as everyone should look this way and a lot of people no only teens but more so, will try to fit into this category of people with the perfect body, or the best style, or the new hair style, when really what people should be doing is just being who they are, and not caring what anyone else does, or who anyone else is. I think if people tried to be themselves more often, the population in general would be happier.

I choose a random cover girl add because i believe it portrays that people should look like who is in the picture, and it really picks at peoples wants or insecurities to be just like everyone else.  Also this photo has good composition and good implied lines.

Best Of 25

I feel like this is the best out of my 25 photos, my theme was Nature, and I think this captures it. Originally the color in the photo was almost distracting, and it pulled the eye different ways, after editing it I believe the photo is the best it can be. The viewers eye immediately is pulled to the subject of the photo, being the tree. Also there is not to much negative space, it is weighted evenly,  and the implied lines make your eye follow the branches. 

What is Digital art?

Digital art is creating something with a camera, instead of capturing something with a camera. You can capture a moment, with any snapshot, but it becomes art when you make something out of the image. When you arrange the subjects or positioning of the camera to speak to the viewer, to make the viewer feel something, and when the photo takes on a life of its own. 

~I choose this photo because it brings a feeling of peace and calming, and the photo is well taken and the placement of the camera shows the endless edge of the sea, which also shows how small the viewer is in comparison to the world, and the water.
